The Cincinnati Bengals will visit the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday with the intention of spoiling the home opener for head coach John Harbaugh's squad.
NFL odds 2014, Week 1: Bengals vs. Ravens
These two division rivals have been evenly-matched historically. On Sunday, the oddsmakers don’t see this Week 1 contest as any different.

The team over at OddsShark points out that while the oddsmakers have set an even money line, the predicted score is 26-18 in favor of the Bengals. Baltimore’s struggles against the point spread versus NFC North division foes are partly behind the reasoning for such an outcome. The Ravens have struggled to a 2-6 record in their last eight contests against division opponents.
The over-under is set at 42.5, and the over has held true in four of Cincinnati’s last five games. However, 63 percent of the current bettors disagree and have chosen the under.
Cincinnati is 5-2 ATS and straight up in its last seven contests, and that momentum could serve it well as it tries to hand the Ravens a home loss to start the season.
Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard will serve as key offensive playmakers to watch the Bengals as the Ravens try to improve their 12th-ranked defense from 2013 in terms of yards and points. The Bengals put up the sixth-most points in the league last season and will provide a difficult test in what's sure to be a fierce early-season competition.
