The NFL has no one to coach the Pro Bowl

For the first time in recent memory, the Pro Bowl faces an odd coaching issue.

Update: Ravens and Cowboys to coach the teams

The NFL Pro Bowl is slated to be played on Jan. 25, the Sunday between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl. Unfortunately for the league, there are lingering questions about who the coaching staffs will be for the contest, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Usually, the losing teams in the Divisional round that have the highest seeds send their coaching staffs to the game. This year, however, that would be the Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys. Dallas' staff is not under contract, but is expected to be retained at some point. Over in Denver, John Fox and the team agreed to mutually part ways on Monday, leaving the Broncos without a head coach. Multiple reports have also indicated that the Broncos' entire coaching staff was urged to look for new job opportunities elsewhere.

The NFL is currently looking for a solution to this problem, although it is not clear what will happen. Schefter speculates that perhaps it will be the other Divisional round losers, the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens, who will send their coaches instead.
