NFL playoff picks and predictions, Ravens vs. Steelers 2015: Experts picking Pittsburgh
Even without Le’Veon Bell, the Steelers are favored at home against their division rivals.
The Ravens did manage to split the season series, however, cruising by the Steelers, 26-6, in Baltimore way back in Week 2. That should give them confidence, as should the fact that they won't have to face star Pittsburgh running back Le'Veon Bell.
Bell, who finished second in the league in rushing yards behind DeMarco Murray, has been ruled inactive with a hyperextended knee. As big of a hit as that is to Pittsburgh's chances, keep in mind that he didn't play a major role in the Steelers' big regular season win over the Ravens. Bell had just 10 carries for 20 yards in Week 9. Although, he did add five catches for 38 yards and a touchdown.
That game was all about the Pittsburgh passing game. Ben Roethlisberger exploded for six touchdowns and 340 passing yards, 144 of which went to Antonio Brown, who leads the league in receiving. That was one of the few times the Baltimore defense, which ranks sixth in the league in points allowed, was torched.
All but one of the 13 experts at ESPN and all but one of the eight panelists at CBS Sports are picking the Steelers. The guys at Fox Sports are a bit more torn, with the eight panelists split right down the middle.
Here at SB Nation, only Stephen White and PFT Commenter are going with the Ravens.
