Bengals vs. Colts, NFL playoffs 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream
Cincinnati looks for its first playoff win in over two decades, while Indianapolis hopes to advance at home.
The Indianapolis Colts will look to advance to the Divisional round of the AFC playoffs when they host the Cincinnati Bengals at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon. The game will be televised on CBS and streamed online via NFL Mobile from Verizon Wireless.
Indianapolis is in the postseason for the third straight year, the second time as AFC South champs. Cincinnati is making its fourth straight appearance, but is still looking for its first playoff win since 1991.
The Colts have one of the most prolific passing attacks in the NFL, led by quarterback Andrew Luck who threw for 4,761 yards, third-best in the league. Luck has managed to prop up an Indianapolis team with a faulty offensive line and no running game. The Colts are limited in the amount of weapons Luck has to work with outside of T.Y. Hilton, who amassed 1,345 receiving yards. Trent Richardson has proven a major disappointment, running for 519 yards on 3.3 yards per carry.
The Colts have struggled defensively at times this season, allowing five opponents to score 30 points or more in a single game (Broncos, Cowboys, Eagles, Patriots and Steelers). The Colts' pass rush has faltered without Robert Mathis, who missed the season due to a torn Achilles. The team's sack leader is Jonathan Newsome who totals 6.5.
The Bengals are hoping to overcome recent history, which includes five playoff appearances that all ended in Wild Card losses. Quarterback Andy Dalton made the postseason each of his first three seasons, but has thrown for one touchdown and six interceptions in those games.
Cincinnati will likely try to run the football behind the duo of Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill. Hill rushed for 1,124 yards and nine touchdowns in his rookie year, while Bernard added 1,029 total yards (680 rushing and 349 receiving). Overall, the Bengals possess the sixth-best rushing average while Indianapolis checks in 18th against the run.
