Aaron Rodgers listed as probable vs. Cowboys

The Packers quarterback is still set to start.

Aaron Rodgers' recovery is continuing to come along as expected in Green Bay. The Packers quarterback has officially been listed as probable on the team's depth chart for this weekend's playoff game against the Cowboys after a successful practice on Thursday.

“Aaron came through the practice, everything OK,” head coach Mike McCarthy told the team’s official site on Friday. “He feels good today. He’s progressing forward.”

Rodgers took about 50 to 60 percent of the offensive reps in practice on Thursday, the same day it was revealed that he has a slight tear in his calf muscle. He’s apparently no worse for the wear.

“He looks like he’s moving fine to me right now, so we’re not going to change any approach for how we want to attack the Dallas defense,” McCarthy said.

The Packers did not hold practice on Friday.

Rodgers himself has remained unwavering in his insistence that he'll start against Dallas in Sunday's playoff game in Green Bay. He had to be carted off the field two weeks ago in the regular season finale against the Detroit Lions, but returned in the second half to lead the Packers to a win. Green Bay's first-round bye has given him an extra week of rest.
