Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will play in Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, despite popping up on the injury report on Saturday as questionable due to an illness. Watt hasn't missed a game in his five-year NFL career.
J.J. Watt will play vs. Jaguars despite illness
Watt’s streak of never missing a game in his five-season career is not in jeopardy.

Through five games this season, Watt has four sacks and four passes defended for the 1-4 Texans. Last season, he scored five touchdowns -- three as a receiver, one on an interception return and one on a fumble return -- and added a safety, but he hasn’t gotten his hands on the ball yet in 2015.
In 69 career games, Watt has 61 sacks, 260 tackles and 41 passes defensed. He has forced 12 fumbles and recovered 11 while intercepting one pass. In both 2012 and 2014, he finished with 20.5 sacks and was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year.
Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles has been sacked 14 times in five games, including four losses, and Watt has been particularly effective against him in the past. In two games against the Jaguars in 2014, Watt managed to sack Bortles six times.
