NEW LOW: The 49ers are terrible. There’s really no other way to put it, sorry. Even Jim Tomsula knows it. Their quarterback’s best throw of the night was one that hit a team staffer.
The 49ers are even worse than we thought
This is an organization in crisis, so what happens now?
SHAKE UP: Something is going to happen to the 49ers. Insiders hinted a shakeup, but what will it be? Two things to watch for: First, a fire sale ahead of the trade deadline. Second, will they bench Colin Kaepernick?
FLYING AGAIN: Seattle’s win was at least a little encouraging given their recent state of play, and the win gets them one game from .500. There are still things this team needs to work on ... like not hitting a return man so late it makes his teammates bow in shame.
BEAR DOWN: Drama in Chicago! The Bears released Jeremiah Ratliff after a rather heated argument with the general manager. They even called the police as he left the building.
HARVIN: The Bills are saying that there’s more going on with Percy Harvin than just frustration over his hip and knee injuries.
BILLS REUNION: Meanwhile, the Bills will face former coach Doug Marrone this week, but EJ Manuel isn’t thinking about that part.
TROLLS: The Patriots took a shot at the Jets via Twitter on Thursday. Miiiiiight want to be careful with that. Sheldon Richardson of the Jets had a beef with the media and a quote being taken out of context.
NUMBERS GAME: The Falcons OWN the stat sheet this season.
BRONCOS D: Von Miller is promising even bigger things from the Broncos defense against the Packers.
PODCAST: This week on the podcast, we’re talking about stupid NFL teams.
COUSINS PROBLEM: Washington’s nonsensical loyalty to Kurt Cousins is costing them games.
