Tannehill had a career day against the Texans on Sunday.

Against the Tennessee Titans the previous week, Tannehill completed the final seven passes he attempted, making it 25 straight over the course of the two games. He did throw an incomplete pass after his 18th consecutive completion against the Texans, however.
Tannehill finished that Titans game with 266 yards and a pair of touchdowns, completing 22 of 29 passes. At the time he hit his 18th consecutive completion against the Texans, Tannehill had 282 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions, all while being sacked four times for a loss of 41 yards. The Dolphins beat the Titans, 38-10, and at the time of his record, the Dolphins were ahead of the Texans by three touchdowns.
Tannehill signed a four-year contract extension worth $77 million in new money this offseason. He's the team's franchise quarterback and has a career completion percentage of 61.7, with 72 touchdowns and 49 interceptions since the team took him in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
