The Arizona Cardinals are still on top in the NFC West, but with the Seattle Seahawks starting to put the pieces back together and the St. Louis Rams not far behind, they need to get back in the win column sooner rather than later. The pressure is on, and everyone expects them to beat the Baltimore Ravens under the bright lights of Monday Night Football.
Ravens vs. Cardinals 2015 picks and predictions: Experts unanimous in picking Arizona
Experts are unanimous in picking the Cardinals to beat the Ravens on Monday.
If they don't beat the Ravens, it will be a huge red flag. The Ravens are on a two-game losing skid and have lost all but one game they've played this season. They managed to play it close against the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4, winning that game by a field goal.
But since then they have dropped close games to the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers, two teams who will likely be in the bottom half of the league when it's all said and done. The Ravens are not a good team this season, and the Cardinals might be.
The jury is still out on the Cardinals, who put up 40-plus points in three games this season, but those games were against the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and 49ers. They were games the Cardinals were always expected to win, but they also fell to the St. Louis Rams earlier in the year, and the Pittsburgh Steelers in their last outing. Carson Palmer has been excellent this season, but the loss to the Steelers, who had to resort to their third-string quarterback, was surprising.
Still, experts around the Internet aren’t exactly lining up to pick the Ravens to win this one. Over at CBS Sports, all eight of the experts picking are going with the Cardinals, and all 13 experts with ESPN agree.
