The Patriots stopped the Dolphins and trolled the Colts ... on the same damn night!

It’s looking more and more like a 16-0 season for the Patriots, another 16-0 season. And they’re being kind of obnoxious about it.

STILL ROLLING: Two wins against two crappy teams were not really momentum for the Miami Dolphins and interim head coach Dan Campbell. They were no match for the Patriots on Thursday night, who beat them 36-7. It’s getting harder and harder to deny the possibility of a 16-0 season.

New England’s offense is other worldly right now. Tom Brady threw four touchdowns and got a little help from guys like Dion Lewis, Julian Edelman, Gronk and a few others. Despite that, there’s a crack in the armor. Not to be overlooked is just how well the Patriots defense is playing.

Not sure exactly what Ryan Tannehill was thinking as he watched the snap go by, but his reaction is priceless and pretty much sums up the Dolphins’ night in New England.

TOLLING THE COLTS: The Patriots honored former linebacker Willie McGinest at halftime Thursday, and owner Bob Kraft used the occasion to take a shot at the Colts, telling the crowd: “There’s nothing more satisfying than saddling the Indianapolis Colts with a loss.

PROPHECY: We should have known the Patriots were going to win because the clouds foretold it, really.

WAKE INJURY: The Dolphins suffered a major loss to their defense, losing Cam Wake to an Achilles injury.

BETTING BIG: Comedian Daniel Tosh bet $25,000 on the Patriots at -3 in the first half, won big and used the money to help a sick friend.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE: The St. Louis Rams accidentally sent one fan $25,000 worth of tickets.
