Cam Newton is offending Titans fans unfamiliar with joy

Don’t look now, but people are complaining about Cam Newton for some unknown reason. The Panthers are just fine with him though.

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

ALL OF CAM: The level of energy Cam Newton plays with and the amount of fun he has while playing football turns off a lot of pearl-clutching NFL types. Not the Panthers. They love Cam for who he is, and that’s a big reason why they’re 9-0. Check out SB Nation’s exclusive with Newton.

UNDEFEATED NO MORE: The Texans dealt the Bengals their first loss of the season. Andy Dalton struggled, which will inevitably raise questions about how he plays in prime time, but he really had a problem with cornerback Jonathan Joseph. Bengals fans even booed their team.

HIGHLIGHTS: DeAndre Hopkins made the catch of the night. There was a very good halftime show for animal lovers. Belly dance!

WATT CONTROVERSY: For someone who’s supposedly to busy lifting weights and studying film and grinding in general, J.J. Watt sure does get himself involved in lots of childish arguments with other players. This time, he made Andy Dalton mad.

FINALLY FIRED: The first report of Rob Ryan being fired came out before 10 a.m. Then Sean Payton said nobody had been canned, but finally, it was a done deal by dark. Dennis Allen takes his place; can he fix the Saints defense?

PEYTON BENCHED: A foot injury will keep Peyton Manning on the bench next week, possibly longer. Brock Osweiler already has a list of nicknames to live up to. Finally, PFT Commenter thinks this all might be a ploy by Manning and the Broncos.

FOLES ME ONCE: Peyton Manning wasn’t the only quarterback losing his starting job on Monday; the Rams announced that Nick Foles would be replaced by Case Keenum. Of course, Jeff Fisher had some spin on the whole situation that you really have to read to believe. Wasn’t this team supposed to be good with all those draft picks they got in the RG3 trade in 2012?

BANDWAGON: Why don’t more people like the first-place Vikings?

ROOKIE RUNNER: Bears RB Jeremy Langford now has something in common with Walter Payton.

FANTASY CORNER: It’s Tuesday, so get your waiver wire claims in ASAP. Here are a few suggestions for your fantasy team.

NOT THE REAL THING: This guy is not Ray Lewis, but you’d never guess that from watching his motivational speech.
