Tom Brady has never "been so visibly pissed off after a loss" as he was after losing to the Denver Broncos, he told WEEI's Dennis, Callahan & Minihane radio show. In his weekly appearance on the show on Monday, Brady said he was "pretty pissed off, at obviously the final outcome, just how the last 20 minutes of the game played out."

Brady wasn’t happy with calls not going the Patriots’ way, but didn’t want to blame officials for the team’s loss on Sunday night.
The New England Patriots had a 21-7 lead over the Broncos early in the fourth quarter, but allowed 17 unanswered points before finally kicking a 47-yard field goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. But an unsuccessful offensive possession for the Patriots gave the ball to the Broncos and a 48-yard rushing touchdown for C.J. Anderson dealt New England its first loss of the 2015 season.
Brady, on several occasions, took issues with calls made by the officials, including an offensive pass interference penalty on Rob Gronkowski and a no-call when he said Brandon LaFell was "hooked" by a defensive player in overtime.
“Sometimes we’re getting [the calls] and sometimes we don’t,” Brady said on Monday. “We didn’t get any last night. I don’t know why or why not. You think they’re looking at it, and they probably are. Sometimes officials miss it, too. I totally understand that. They’re not — I don’t know. I have no clue.”
On another play at the end of regulation, Brady and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick were confused when officials began to run the clock after an “excess timeout” was assessed to the Broncos.
“I don’t think I still quite fully understand that. Because their guy went down, they had no timeouts. And I don’t know what the rule is. ... I thought when he went down there was a penalty on that team for having a delay of game. But I’ll have to look at that this week. I don’t know, there’s so many frigging rules. There’s so many rules now. We’ll try to clarify it this week. But you’re right, I was not aware that the clock would be running.”
Up next for the Patriots is a home game against the struggling Philadelphia Eagles before a road trip to play the resurgent Houston Texans. The question will be how many of Brady's offensive weapons will be healthy and available for the remainder of the year.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered a knee injury on Sunday that isn't believed to be too serious and Danny Amendola should be back soon from a knee sprain. The team is also missing Julian Edelman due to a broken foot and the injured reserve features players like Dion Lewis and Aaron Dobson. While the Patriots have been praised for their ability to continue to find wins despite losing so many players, Brady was hesitant to say the team can keep finding success with replacements.
“I don’t know that the ‘€˜next man up’ thing — you’ve got to have really great players out there,” Brady said. “The guys that are out there I certainly have trust in, they just have not had a lot of experience. You’ve got to try to develop confidence with the guys that you have out there.”
Brady finished Sunday night 23-of-42 passing with 280 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He leads the NFL in passing yards with 3,600, touchdowns with 28 and passer rating with a 106.7 mark.
