RUMOR FATIGUE: There’s been a Marcus Mariota-Eagles trade rumor in our little morning link dump almost every day. I have another one to add, below, too. Mariota rumors just won’t stop, and now, Eagles fans are getting tired of it.

Another day, another Mariota rumor. Even Eagles fans are feeling spun by the rumor mill at this point.
MONDAY MARIOTA RUMOR: The latest has ESPN quarterback “expert” and TV talking person Ron Jaworski, citing league sources, saying that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will draft Mariota instead of Jameis Winston. Even when the Eagles aren’t involved in Mariota trade rumors, they’re still coming from former Eagles legends.
PLAN AHEAD: Victor Cruz and Odell Beckham Jr are already planning a tandem touchdown celebration.
APPLES TO ORANGES: The Titans supposedly see a little bit of Tom Brady in Zach Mettenberger. Some truly wonderful hubris that you can only get in the NFL. Even Titans fans aren’t buying it.
THE MOST VALUABLE DRAFT PICK EVER: The Jets drafted Keyshawn Johnson in 1996. A pretty good draft pick, right? What makes it even better is that the Jets are STILL reaping the rewards from that pick.
THE FUTURE: Last week, the NFL officially hired its first ever* female referee, Sarah Thomas. Cardinals coach Bruce Arians thinks the next we’ll see a female coach in the league.

BIG BROWN HOAX: Cleveland retailers slipped and revealed the new Browns uniforms before they were supposed to. Except they didn’t. It was all a pretty elaborate hoax.
DON’T MESS WITH THE ISLAND: So you want to make shitty troll comments to Darrelle Revis on his Instagram page ... be prepared for a response you might not like.
GOOD NEWS: Chiefs safety Eric Berry was spotted out and about at the Tennessee Vols Family Day event this weekend. It’s a good sign he’s getting healthy.
