2015 NFL Draft: Former players to announce second-round picks

The list of former players scheduled to appear at the festivities in Chicago on Friday night includes six Hall of Famers.

Although the first round of the NFL Draft gets most of the hype and attention, there is still plenty to look forward to in the later rounds if you are a football fan.

One of the cool features on Day 2 is that each team will have a former player announce its second-round pick at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago. This is the fifth year that the second-round selections will be revealed by retired players. Full coverage of Round 2 begins at 7 p.m. ET on Friday night and can be seen on ESPN2 and NFL Network.

The list of players includes six former Hall of Famers: Jim Kelly (Bills), Dick Butkus (Bears), Dwight Stephenson (Dolphins), Willie Brown (Raiders), Mel Blount (Steelers) and Charles Haley (49ers). The 32 participants have also combined for 22 Super Bowl titles and 92 Pro Bowl appearances. It's a star-studded group of NFL legends and franchise favorites that gives fans everywhere an incentive to tune into the second day of the draft.
