ALL DAY AGAIN: Adrian Peterson had his face-to-face with Roger Goodell on Tuesday, a four-hour meeting to hash out his eventual reinstatement. He’s not expected to face further punishment from the NFL. If he is reinstated on April 15, the next question becomes whether or not he suits up for the Vikings this year or gets traded.
Rise ‘n Grind: When is Adrian Peterson coming back?
Fresh off a meeting with the NFL commissioner, the Vikings running back is getting closer to reinstatement. The next question is whether or not he’ll be in Minnesota when the season begins.

WEIGHTS AND MEASURES: Pro days are a strange spectacle. Scouts complaining about how many they’ve attended, various interlopers hanging around in the nooks and crannies, and Chip Kelly measuring prospects’ joints ... Robert Klemko went behind the scenes for a piece at the MMQB. Speaking of pro days, Florida has theirs on Tuesday. Dante Fowler wasn’t the only prospect putting on a show there.
STUNNED: Fowler said that he would be “stunned” if the Jaguars passed over him with the third overall pick in the draft. He had a private visit with the team this week, and looks like a natural for Gus Bradley’s hybrid defensive end/rush linebacker position, the LEO.
RANKED: Fowler checked in as Mocking the Draft’s top defensive end in this year’s draft class in the most recent rankings. The deepest position groups this year are outside linebackers and defensive tackles.
SUSPENDED: The Patriots won’t have running back LeGarrette Blount for the first game of the season, not that it will impact Bill Belichick’s game plan all that much anyway. The NFL suspended him for one game because of his marijuana arrest last year. Le’Veon Bell, who was arrested with Blount in August last year, could be getting a suspension soon too.
SKIPPING: Lions safety James Ihedigbo is planning to avoid offseason workouts because he wants a new contract. His four interceptions and three forced fumbles were impressive, but he might be over-inflating his own value, especially after how he finished the season.
THE CHAIR: Jim Harbaugh’s old chair at Candlestick Park, from his days as the 49ers head coach, is up for auction. Bidding starts at $100.
WACKIEST TRADE RUMOR IN THE EAST: Are you ready for this one? Someone heard someone say something about the Eagles trying to trade Sam Bradford to the Browns in exchange for Johnny Manziel AND a first-round pick. Our Browns blog isn’t buying it.
IT’S MUTUAL: Clemson pass rusher Vic Beasley would love to be a Falcon. I’m sure the feeling’s mutual in Atlanta.
TWITTER LOVE: Seahawks punter John Ryan and his fiancee discuss how they fell in love 140 characters at a time.
WON’T GET FINED: I’ve never heard Marshawn Lynch say as much, or reveal as much about himself as he does in this video with fellow Oaklanders Mistah F.A.B., his cousin, and E-40. They touch on everything from stolen bikes to why the media never talks about his foundation.
VALLEY RANCH VISITORS: Georgia running back Todd Gurley headlines the list of draft prospects paying an official visit to the Dallas Cowboys in the next seven days. Gurley is one of five running backs in the draft going this week as the Cowboys continue their search to replace DeMarco Murray with someone more reliable than Darren McFadden.
