WHAT ABOUT BALLS: It happened, alright. And Tom Brady knew about it. The NFL released its 243-page report on Wednesday, chock full of details and hilarious Boston text messages all pointing to the Patriots using intentionally deflated footballs in the AFC Championship game. An equipment guy, a locker room attendant and Brady himself are the only ones implicated. I’ve officially got a case of NFL scandal fatigue, which only makes me appreciate Gronk’s response even more. Enjoy hearing about Brady and his balls ... ALL SUMMER.
Rise ‘n Grind: DeflateGate is the dumbest NFL scandal ever
Not the most horrific, but certainly the most tedious.

PERPETRATORS: Players don’t think the NFL’s domestic violence training program is working. Huge surprise. The league slapped together a one size fits all program in a matter of weeks and rolled it out to all 32 teams in a two month window. If last week’s draft results didn’t already have you questioning the league’s commitment to be a “leader in the domestic violence space” this story will.
HANGING IT UP: The game’s officially losing two of the best safeties of the modern era this spring. Former Ravens great Ed Reed called it a career this week.
COLLINS CLOSER: Former LSU tackle and coveted NFL prospect La’el Collins is a little closer to signing with a team. He cleared a polygraph test, and it was found that he is not the father of Brittany Mills’ baby. He hasn’t been fully cleared yet, but it’s a step forward. Collins already has his first official team visit lined up: the Cowboys.
TOP 100: The NFL Network is doing its tedious offseason exercise, ranking the top 100 players in the league (you know, the one where nobody can actually find a player who voted). The incumbent Defensive Rookie of the Year Aaron Donald was “voted” the 92nd best player, which is at least something positive for the Rams.
MORE TROUBLE FOR THE 49ERS: Linebacker Ahmad Brooks has been named in a sexual assault lawsuit, the same one as Ray McDonald.
KNEE SURGERY: Vikings’ disappointing left tackle Matt Kalil had surgery on BOTH of his knees during the offseason. Maybe that will help him on the field this season.
NAMES TO KNOW: If you didn’t get your fill of the NFL Draft last week, here’s a list of 125 players to watch for the 2016 NFL Draft.
CARDS NEW CORNER: The Arizona Cardinals claimed former Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard off waivers on Wednesday. It’s a good move to add depth to the secondary, but will it be enough to replace Antonio Cromartie?
