Rise ‘n Grind: There is no conspiracy against Tom Brady and the Patriots

Don Yee, Tom Brady’s agent, thinks his client may have been framed ... LOL.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

CONSPIRACY: Tom Brady's agent, Don Yee, is making the rounds doing damage control for his client. Among the theories he's offering: someone or someones within the NFL may have fixed the AFC Championship, because we all know the NFL is out to get Robert Kraft and Tom Brady. We'll pause while you laugh at that.

JUSTICE: DeflateGate is really stupid, but not for some of New England’s rival fans. They want justice. And they’re already challenging what exactly the Patriot Legacy really means.

NOT AN ISSUE: The Cowboys signed La'el Collins on Thursday. That's another player with "character issues" Dallas has added this offseason, right? NO. Before you lump Collins in with Greg Hardy, etc., read this.

RULING AGAINST ROGER: The Missouri Supreme Court doesn’t believe that Roger Goodell is the most powerful being on the planet. In fact, the court handed down a decision that could change the commissioner’s place in the league’s power structure.

LOVIE'S MAN: Is Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach the perfect mentor for Jameis Winston? He just might be.

FALCON DEFENSE: Don’t look now, but the Atlanta Falcons defensive front suddenly looks like an asset instead of a liability.

ONE MORE SHOT: Terrelle Pryor is getting another chance, this time with the Bengals, but it's only a tryout.

REMEMBER HIM: In case you forgot, Houston Texans defensive end and last year's first overall pick in the draft, Jadeveon Clowney, is still awesome.

RAIDER INVESTMENT: The Raiders are spending $10 million to upgrade their practice facility and team headquarters. Hmm, that would seem to suggest they’re not as ready to leave as it seems.

JUST A RAISE: Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett is not seeking a trade after all. He just wants a raise.

COMPETITION: The draft world was confused, to say the least, about the Colts' decision to take Miami receiver Phillip Dorsett in the first round. T.Y. Hilton wasn't exactly thrilled about it.
