What about Le’Veon Bell’s suspension?

The Steelers running back is waiting for the NFL to rule on his suspension appeal. Plus, Mariota, Adrian Peterson and so many damn rankings!

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

THE OTHER SUSPENSION: Did you know that Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is also waiting to hear from Roger Goodell on the status of his appeal of his three-game suspension? Ol' Rog has no idea when he's going to make a decision.

STANDOFF OVER: It’s finally done. The Titans signed their franchise savior Marcus Mariota to his mostly predetermined rookie contract. So what happened with that offset language that was holding it up?

LOS ANGELES: Peter King suggests that it will be the Rams getting the okay to pack up and relocate to Los Angeles. Most notable is that it may only be the Rams moving in 2016. King is well connected inside the ownership/executive circle in the NFL. It’s worth noting here that he shares an agent with Jeff Fisher, Marvin Demoff, who also happens to be the father of Rams executive VP Kevin Demoff.

KROMER GONE?: Aaron Kromer’s days with the Bills appear to be numbered after he beat up a minor over some beach chairs. In fact, the team may already have a replacement waiting in the wings.

PETERSON’S CONTRACT: Ah, memories. It seems like just yesterday we were counting the days until Adrian Peterson and the Vikings broke up. Then he showed up for minicamp in June. Now, he has a restructured contract that gives him another $20 million in guaranteed money. Vikings fans are pleased.

THIRD TIER TEDDY: Teddy Bridgewater might be the second-happiest person about having Peterson back in the fold. With a weapon like him in the backfield, the Vikings second-year quarterback should be able to blast past his so-called “third tier” status.

NO TIMELINE: The commissioner also said that there is “no timeline” for deciding Tom Brady’s appeal. There’s a good chance we’ll get a decision on that this week, probably Friday afternoon.

EXTENSIONS: No, not those pills Jimmy Johnson sells. There’s a long list of big time players due for new deals soon. The Giants reportedly want to get a deal done with Eli Manning before the season starts. Philip Rivers and the Chargers have some negotiating to do too. The Panthers’ all-world lineback Luke Kuechly got another two years on his current deal, but after that he could get big bucks.

GURLEY INJURY: The Rams will have rookie running back Todd Gurley on the non-football injury list when training camp starts. The real question is whether he’ll be ready for Week 1.

RANKINGS: Ratings for the running backs in the upcoming Madden game came out. Marshawn Lynch is No. 1 on the list, Adrian Peterson is second and Jamaal Charles is third.

MORE RANKINGS: ESPN’s Mike Sando went to various coaches and execs around the league to have them rank the quarterbacks (Insider pay wall). The reactions are pretty great. Here’s Field Gulls on Russell Wilson being a second tier QB. Eagles fans disagree with Sam Bradford coming in at No. 23. Alex Smith got the dreaded Andy Dalton comparison.

FREE AGENTS: There are some decent veterans waiting around for teams to call.

BETTER BOWLES: The Jets seem to have landed an up and coming coach in Todd Bowles, so how exactly does he make the team better?
