The Colts locked up their budding superstar for the next six years of his career, the team announced Thursday morning. Plus, the latest on DeflateGate and more from around the NFL.

“His daily excellence on and off the field is a shining example of an individual striving for greatness and what it truly means to be a Colt,” GM Ryan Grigson said.
DEFLATEGATE AGAIN: Tom Brady and Roger Goodell had their day in court. It was apparently productive, but didn’t actually result in anything. The judge gave it to both sides pretty good, though he was particularly tough on the NFL’s case against Brady. So what happens now?
THAT FACE: And then there was the courtroom sketch artist's rendering of Tom Brady, which was rough. It's VERY hard to draw a human face on the fly like that; we know because we tried it! I think the artist felt kind of bad about how it turned out.
APOLOGY: Brady apologized to Peyton Manning for the things he said about him in the email messages released last week.
CUTLER AT IT AGAIN: Hey look, it’s yet another breakout year for Jay Cutler in Chicago. Another one of his former teammates isn’t buying it.
BILLS GET THE PUNCHER: The Buffalo Bills claimed IK Enemkpali off waivers yesterday, the guy who punched Geno Smith. No surprise, Rex Ryan coached him for a year and was with the Jets when they drafted him.
GLAD YOU’RE HERE: The Raiders are awfully glad to have Derek Carr.
PIZZA STEVE: One Buffalo Bills fan combined his love of the Bills and pizza into a tattoo.
GUARD BATTLE: The Eagles are still trying to figure out who will replace Evan Mathis at guard. They have four candidates.
JERRY WORLD: Jerry Jones is reportedly pushing for the NFL to choose Stan Kroenke’s Inglewood stadium and the Rams as their L.A. team. That’s good news for Chargers fans.
REMEMBER 2012: Doug Martin was really good for one season. There’s reason to believe that he might be good again this year.
HOT SEAT: Which NFL coach is getting fired first this year? The latest odds from Vegas don’t bode well for Washington’s Jay Gruden.
