Steelers vs. Bills 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Steelers are preparing for life without their All-Pro center, while the Bills’ quarterback competition heats up with the start of the regular season just a few weeks away.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills kick off Saturday's jam-packed schedule with an afternoon game at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Injuries have taken a toll on both teams in recent weeks and their depth charts are far from settled as the start of the regular season looms.

The Steelers are trying to cope with the loss of their All-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey, who underwent surgery for a fractured fibula this week and is expected to miss a significant amount of time. Cody Wallace will take his place in the middle of the offensive line, which will get a huge test this week against a Bills front seven that is projected to be among the best in the NFL this season.

For the Bills, once again all eyes will be on the quarterback competition between Matt Cassel, Tyrod Taylor and EJ Manuel. Rex Ryan has named Manuel the starter against the Steelers, but that might not mean much -- he indicated after last week's game that he won't reveal his No. 1 quarterback until just before the Week 1 matchup against the Colts. All three signal callers have played well at times this summer, but none has really separated himself from the pack so far.

It looks like this position battle could come down to the final preseason game next week, though the importance of the third preseason game cannot be overstated. As the starter, Manuel will get premium snaps against Pittsburgh’s tough defense, which could work out well for him -- or poorly, if the Steelers’ defense is on point. Unfortunately for the Bills, they still have injuries at both receiver and running back, so Manuel won’t be working with a complete starting unit.
