The third preseason game is always considered to be the dress rehearsal for the regular season. For the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, however, Saturday night's matchup takes on perhaps even greater importance as both teams are breaking in new quarterbacks and adjusting to the game plans of new offensive coordinators.

Jameis Winston looked like the real deal against the Bengals on Monday night. Can he continue to improve Saturday in his third preseason game?

Mike Pettine made sure there would be no quarterback controversy in Cleveland when he announced early in training camp that veteran Josh McCown would be the No. 1 QB with Johnny Manziel as the backup. Manziel was held out of practice for much of this week with a sore elbow, and although tests showed no structural damage, he will not play on Saturday and is expected to be shut down for the rest of the preseason. McCown has looked pedestrian in his first two preseason games -- throwing two interceptions while averaging just 6.0 yards per attempt -- and needs a much stronger performance in this final tune-up if he's going to hold on to the starting job.
Jameis Winston's second preseason game went much better than his first, and the Bucs are hoping that he'll continue to show improvement in this third game. Winston was efficient and looked especially composed in the pocket against the Bengals, completing 8 of 13 passes for 90 yards with a rushing touchdown. Whatever progress he shows this weekend, he'll have to do it without the services of his top wideout. Mike Evans is expected to miss the rest of the preseason with a hamstring injury that he suffered on Monday night.
