Mauldin spent several minutes motionless on the turf Sunday after forcing a Johnny Manziel fumble in the second half against the Browns.

On Sunday, Mauldin was motionless on the turf for several minutes before being loaded onto a cart by the training staff, his helmet still on his head. He went down after hitting Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, helping to force a fumble that Darrelle Revis scooped up for a 17-yard return. He attempted to get back to his feet before toppling back to the ground.

— Manish Mehta (@MMehtaNYDN) September 13, 2015 Mauldin is one of the best stories in the league this season, having overcame a rough childhood spent bouncing in and out of foster homes to put together a phenomenal career at Louisville. He was taken by the Jets in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft and is expected to contribute immediately on one of the league's best defenses.
