C.J. Anderson taken to locker room, returns to game after passing concussion tests
Anderson was evaluated for a possible concussion after a nasty helmet-to-helmet collision in the first quarter, but passed his tests and returned to the game.

Anderson took a nasty helmet-to-helmet hit from Lions defensive lineman Darryl Tapp late in the first quarter. He laid on the ground for a few minutes while being attended to by trainers, walking off the field under his own power. Ronnie Hillman replaced Anderson as the Broncos’ starter in the backfield while he was out.
Anderson has been an early disappointment for the Broncos, rushing for just 56 yards on 24 carries in the first two games of the season. Hillman was slightly better, rushing 21 times for 75 yards. The Broncos are using Anderson and Hillman as a committee in an attempt to get their run game going.
Anderson enjoyed a strong finish to the 2014 season, with 849 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns while averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
