Tom Brady isn’t talking about Donald Trump anymore

The Patriots QB has his own campaign to worry about now ... and maybe another round of DeflateGate court proceedings. Oh, and there’s real NFL business to discuss along with a very special fantasy corner.

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

TRUMPED: Tom Brady hasn’t kept his Donald Trump admiration secret, but suddenly, he doesn’t have much to say about the GOP front runner. Maybe he’s hedging in case he needs to ask the next President to pardon him for DeflateGate now that the NFL has a 2016 court date for an appeal of the case.

NO SECRET: Not even telling them the plays helped the Chiefs’ defense.

MACK DADDY: The Raiders finally figured out Khalil Mack and he’s going to terrorize quarterbacks for years to come. This Amari Cooper kid is yet another young gem on the Raiders roster.

INJURED ANDY: There’s been a rumor floating around that Andrew Luck is playing hurt, a rumor Luck himself finally addressed this week.

WITHOUT BEN: How many games will the Steelers win without Ben Roethlisberger?

BREESUS: The Saints reconfigured Drew Brees’ contract (again) and how he’s got a $30 million cap hit in 2016. People are already wondering if the Saints won’t cut him next year. There’s an argument to be made that they should do that. More immediately, Brees is expected to practice again today, albeit in a limited role, making you wonder if he might play again this week.

PUNT-TASTIC: So you know those 10 punts the Bears made against the Seahawks? Yeah, Jon Bois took a close look at just how wild and unusual that really was. No wonder they’re rebuilding their team three weeks into the season.

49ERS SUED: The post-apocalyptic hellscape that is Levi’s Stadium -- aka where the next Super Bowl is being played -- has the 49ers in legal trouble. A pair of fans who were assaulted in the bathroom there last season are suing the team.

TIPS: Are the Lions tipping their plays?

JULIO THE GREAT: Julio Jones is the best receiver in the NFL right now, and it’s not even close.

FANTASY CORNER: Bye weeks start this week, so you need to be paying attention to the waiver wire. You know what else you need for making those critical lineup decisions? Revised rankings for Week 4.
