The 2016 NFL playoffs are here, and over two days eight wild card teams will be reduced to four heading into the divisional round. The Houston Texans, winners of the AFC South, will play host to the Kansas City Chiefs while Washington, winners of the NFC East, will have a home game against the Green Bay Packers.

Don’t forget to represent your favorite team and players for the playoffs.

The New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos all get a week off while they await their divisional round opponents. The Broncos and Panthers both nabbed top seeds in their respective conferences, and thus have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Cardinals and Patriots both ended up in second place and thus get a first-round bye, but aren't guaranteed to host the championship game if the top seeds advance that far.
While teams like the Chiefs, Texans and Washington were all surprise contenders this season, there is plenty of talent there and a whole lot worth watching. J.J. Watt, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and plenty of other high-level players will be fighting for a Super Bowl ring and a Lombardi Trophy for their respective teams as January rolls on.
