Ravens vs. Giants 2016 picks and predictions: Big Blue expected to get season back on track

After starting the season with three straight wins, the Baltimore Ravens have fallen off. They've dropped two consecutive contests and they fired their offensive coordinator this week. The Giants are currently riding a three-game losing streak, but they are in position to pick up their third win of the season when they host the Ravens Sunday.

So far this season, the Giants' offense has vastly underperformed. They're currently 27th in the league in points scored and have been especially putrid in October, scoring 26 total points in two contests. But a matchup against a weak Ravens secondary could be exactly what they need to get back on track. Odell Beckham Jr. rebounded last week after a rough performance against Washington and caught a touchdown pass in New York's Sunday Night Football loss to the Green Bay Packers. Eli Manning will probably look his way early as he's matched up with cornerback Jimmy Smith.

The Ravens are trying to emerge from an early-season offensive slump, too, but the pieces they have in place don't inspire much confidence. Joe Flacco is throwing more often than any other quarterback in football, but Baltimore is still 22nd in both total yards per game and passing. New offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg is expected to put the ball into the hands of running backs Terrance West and Kenneth Dixon on a more regular basis, but the Giants have one of the better run defenses in the league. The Ravens may be stifled if they look to win this game on the ground.
