Andrew Luck has won five straight starts against the Texans and hopes to make it a sixth in a row. This time he will have to face a particularly tough Houston defense, which comes into this week’s matchup with 13 sacks, the seventh-best total in the league.

Andrew Luck looks to lead the Colts back to .500 by earning his sixth consecutive win vs. the Texans on Sunday night.
Luck will look to lead the Colts into Houston to face the Texans in a Sunday Night Football matchup that will air on NBC and will also be streamed on NBC Sports Live.
The Colts are coming off a 29-23 win over the Chicago Bears last week thanks in part to a five-field goal performance from 43-year-old kicker Adam Vinatieri. The key for them in Sunday night’s matchup will be whether Luck has enough time to find his receivers. Despite ranking fourth in the league with 1,469 passing yards, Luck has been sacked 20 times, more than any other quarterback this season. The Colts’ defense will also need to step up, as its 29.6 points allowed per game and 410.6 yards allowed per game averages are both third-worst in the NFL.
The Texans, meanwhile, lost 31-13 to the undefeated Vikings last week after a 19-42 passing performance from quarterback Brock Osweiler. The passing game has been rough for Osweiler and the Texans this season, ranking 29th with just 208.6 passing yards per game. The Texans’ key to victory will be their defensive pressure. Houston’s defensive line, still not at full strength due to the loss of J.J. Watt for the season, will seek to put more pressure on Andrew Luck.
