Minnesota is cold; you don’t need me to tell you that. But maybe someone should tell Vikings fans.
Vikings fans are tailgating outside in a -34 windchill
They’re not the only ones braving the cold.

These fans won’t be stopped. They’re doing everything they can to stay warm, like roasting their beers and bundling u — wait is that guy in the back WEARING SHORTS?!
Can someone go find this man and bring him some fleece-lined snow pants or something? This guy was definitely the kid whose mom had to argue with him every day to wear a coat to stand at the bus stop in the winter, only it looks like Mom lost her battles.
Elsewhere in the country, fans and players are facing similar conditions, if not quite so bone-cracking cold.
These are Chiefs fans. That parking lot is all ice.
And this is the inside of the stadium.
If you’ve got cold fans, you’ve also got cold players. It’s apparently 1 degree at Arrowhead right now. That could pose some problems for the visiting Titans.
The Titans are 1-4 in sub-20 degree temperatures, according to Darlington. Their last win in weather that cold? 1977.
Other teams are just working to get their stadiums prepared for the games.
Yes, the Bills were giving away tickets to fans who came to shovel the stands. It’s Bills/Browns Sunday, so who wouldn’t want to miss that?!
The Broncos on the other hand needed to bring in tractors to clear the mile-high snow at Mile High Stadium....ha. ha. ha.
Best of luck to everyone out there today. I’ll be inside on my couch under several blankets.
