The rosters for the 2017 Pro Bowl were announced Tuesday, and this year marks the return of the AFC-NFC division faceoff. Pro Bowl legends Ray Lewis and Jerome Bettis are AFC team captains and will lead the 43 division selections.
Pro Bowl 2017 rosters: Tom Brady and Antonio Brown headline the AFC squad
A return to the AFC-NFC format will see many rivals suiting up for the same team.

Players are decided by a consensus vote by from fans, players, and coaches, with each group representing a third of the decision. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was selected to lead the AFC team, with the likes of Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Titans running back DeMarco Murray.
Bills running back LeSean McCoy and Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green were voted in, but won’t play due to injuries. That opened up spots for Dolphins teammates Jay Ajayi and Jarvis Landry.
With the game being held a week before the Super Bowl, some of the first-team selections will be forced to miss the event-filled weekend, but that’s exactly why they name alternates. The league is trying to bounce back after the last Pro Bowl took a ratings dive and is incorporating several other events to draw fans’ attention.
The all star weekend will feature a Skills Showdown that includes a slate of activities like Epic Pro Bowl Dodgeball and the Power Relay Challenge — in addition to Precision Passing and Best Hands competitions. But the main event, the Pro Bowl game, will be played on Sunday, Jan. 29 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
