It’s NFL Draft season, so let’s start ranking things!

DRAFT TALK: Mike Mayock’s 2016 NFL Draft position rankings -- With the NFL Scouting Combine just around the corner, NFL Media draft analyst Mike Mayock unveils his initial position-by-position rankings for the 2016 NFL Draft. Here’s a look at some of the more interesting names available.

PEYTON MANAGER: Bill Polian says Peyton Manning “would be ready immediately” to be a general manager. Peyton’s career path could end up mirroring John Elway’s off the field, too.

BEASON RETIRES: Giants linebacker Jon Beason retires. The former Giants and Panthers linebacker will retire from the NFL after a 10-year career derailed by injury.

RISKY DEFENSE: The Broncos won the Super Bowl because Wade Phillips took a chance on his players. Denver’s defensive coordinator took a huge risk with his defensive playcalling, but it apparently worked out fine, just like retired NFL defensive end Stephen White said it would.

BEAST HOUSE: Marshawn Lynch’s has the best house of any NFL player. The people have spoken: Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is the NFL player who owns the most over-the-top mansion.

SHADY’S SORRY: LeSean McCoy says he made a mistake. The question now is whether or not he’ll turn himself in to police.

RAMS RECRUITING PEYTON: Magic Johnson tried to get Peyton Manning to join the L.A. Rams. Now he’s doing Jeff Fisher’s bidding!!

SUPER HUNGOVER: Who will win the next Super Bowl? Don’t bet on the Carolina Panthers. History shows the Super Bowl hangover for losing teams is a real thing for the past 43 years.
