The NFL owners are gathering this week in Charlotte for a quick spring meeting to hammer out a few issues, like where the Super Bowl is going to be in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Or, if you prefer your Super Bowls numbered, that’s 53, 54 and 55. Hosting the Super Bowl is typically a payoff for building a stadium -- hi, local taxpayers! -- and most people expect Atlanta to get one of the games, probably 2019. Los Angeles is probably getting one in 2021, and the other game comes down to the renovated Superdome in New Orleans vs. a fixed-up Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
The NFL wants to fix the replay system again
They’re meeting in Charlotte this week to vote on a proposed rule change to how replays work and award three more Super Bowl sites. Oh, and there’s more DeflateGate news!

Also on the agenda ...
- Video available on the sideline: Say goodbye to fax machines and still photos, players and coaches might be able to study what happens on the field in real time. Peter King says a few teams could block it since they haven’t had a chance to experience it yet.
- More changes to the replay system: The big thing here would be giving the central replay center in New York more power to correct errors by referees, like marking the ball, penalty yardage, clock errors, etc. They had the same authority during the playoffs.
- A single roster cutdown: Instead of cuts from 90 to 75 and 75 to 53, Washington is proposing to make it just a single cut at the end of the preseason.
DEFLATEGATE CONTINUES!!!!!!!!
Tom Brady wants another shot at the appeals court. Deflategate will never end. Brady and the NFLPA are filing an en banc petition to rehear his appeal of his four-game suspension in front of the entire panel of judges on the Second Circuit Court. So what’s all this mean? Will Brady be back on the field for the first month of the season?
THE JAGS AREN’T WORRIED
The Jaguars aren’t worried about Jalen Ramsey. The Jaguars GM says that their first-round pick “will play a lot this year,” despite the torn meniscus in his knee. He’s getting a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews this week, and that should tell us more about how long he’ll be out. In the meantime, Ramsey signed his contract with the Jags.
FLY LIKE AN EAGLE
Carson Wentz unveils his potential Eagles touchdown celebration dance. It’s not much, but he’s definitely got an edge over Sam Bradford here, too.
THE UNWRITTEN RULES
Aaron Rodgers responds to ridiculous Packers fan’s take on hard counts. The Green Bay signal caller has a message for the fan who thinks that trying to draw defenders offsides is “unprofessional.”
THE NEXT 2K RECEIVER
Will Steelers WR Antonio Brown break the 2,000-yard receiving mark in 2016? If anyone could do it in today’s NFL, it’s Brown.
COME BACK, BEAST
Richard Sherman isn’t going to try to predict what Beast Mode will do. And that’s probably smart.
