Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor will not be charged with sexual assault following a June 9 incident at a strip club in the city. The Philadelphia District Attorney's office said in a statement released Monday that an investigation into the allegations had failed to produce sufficient evidence to file charges.
Eagles WR Nelson Agholor will not be charged with sexual assault
Citing a lack of evidence, the city’s District Attorney declined to file charges.

The DA’s statement read:
“The District Attorney’s Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit and detectives from the Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit thoroughly investigated the allegations of sexual assault against Nelson Agholor. As a result of this joint investigation, our staff and the Police reached the conclusion that we lacked sufficient evidence to bring charges against Mr. Agholor, therefore no charges will be filed.”
According to Philadelphia Magazine, Agholor went to Cheerleaders Gentlemen Club with teammates Connor Barwin and Fletcher Cox after practice wrapped up earlier that afternoon at the team's NovaCare Complex. A 27-year-old employee claimed that the alleged assault occurred shortly thereafter.
Agholor, 23, was the No. 20 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Nigerian-born wideout caught 23 passes in 13 games last season.
