It wouldn't be a Cowboys season without a saga involving Dez Bryant. This season, it seems to be over a knee injury he suffered in the team's win over the Chicago Bears last Sunday. According to the Dallas Morning News' David Moore, the mercurial wideout was fined after he missed team meetings Tuesday and showed up late to the facility, which caused him to miss a scheduled MRI. Bryant didn't receive his MRI until Wednesday.
Dez Bryant skipped his MRI because he was afraid of what it would reveal
Jason Garrett elaborated on the reasons why his star receiver got fined for missing a meeting and an MRI on his knee.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett later confirmed that Bryant had missed the meeting and his initial MRI, but it was for emotional reasons:
Garrett says Dez was fearful the MRI was going to have some bad news, so he avoided it. Was worried the news would be worse than what it was

Injured players typically get MRIs on the day following a game, but purportedly since the Cowboys were off Monday, Bryant was slated to come in on Tuesday.
The MRI Bryant underwent revealed a hairline fracture in his knee. The two-time Pro Bowler went down in the first quarter Sunday but came back into the game, catching a 17-yard touchdown in the final period.
Despite the diagnosis, the Cowboys publicly aren't declaring Bryant will be out when the Cowboys take on the San Francisco 49ers Sunday. They're calling it a "day-to-day" situation.
