The Pro Bowl is making its debut in Orlando this year, and while the players might not be beach-side in beautiful Hawaii, they are right down the street from Disney World.
Pro Bowl 2017 halftime show: Youth flag football championship will air on ESPN
The AFC vs. NFC battle is set for Sunday night in Orlando, where the NFL Flag Football Boys Championship Game also will be held.

During halftime, ESPN will show the NFL Flag Football Boys Championship Game, continuing its coverage of the event from the Pro Bowl pregame. The event can also be seen on ESPN Deportes.
The championship, normally held in the Super Bowl host city the weekend of the game, was moved to the Pro Bowl this year for the first time. Throughout the week leading up to the Pro Bowl, 64 teams from eight regions competed to make the title game on Sunday, with NFL alumni serving as guest coaches.
In between the AFC vs. NFC battle, the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year award will be handed out during the third quarter. The honoree is nominated by one of 32 NFL teams and voted on by a panel that includes Peyton Manning and Michael Strahan. The winner is who they feel best demonstrates the integrity, achievement, and leadership of Coach Shula. This year’s winner will receive $25,000 and a trip to the Super Bowl.
The Pro Bowl might be in a new location, but the return to the traditional AFC vs. NFC format means the end of the three-year experiment of drafting players. The teams will be coached by Andy Reid (AFC) and Jason Garrett (NFC) and their respective staffs, along with two legends captains: Jerome Bettis and Ray Lewis for the AFC; and Tony Gonzalez and Charles Woodson for the NFC.
There are several rookies suiting up in this year’s Pro Bowl, including two running backs — Dallas’s Ezekiel Elliott and Chicago’s Jordan Howard. On the opposite end of the experience-level spectrum, both tackle Joe Thomas and quarterback Drew Brees are suiting up for their 10th Pro Bowl appearances. Ten players from the Super Bowl-bound Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots were voted into the all-star matchup but had to be replaced by alternates.
Players spent the week ahead of the game meeting with fans and signing autographs in addition to participating in different competitions, from a WR Drone Drop to Epic Pro Bowl Dodgeball.
