A diminished Christmas Day crowd made the Steelers trip to Houston a de facto home game, and Le’Veon Bell gave his fans a reason to cheer — and a celebration to leave them guessing.
Le’Veon Bell scored a touchdown and celebrated with a ...fake snowball fight?
This Steeler celebration needed a bit more scrutiny than most.

Bell dove across the end zone to cap off a 10-yard touchdown run that all but crushed the Texans’ slim comeback hopes. After conferring with his teammates, he then did, well, this:
That’s, uh ... a fire safety lesson on what to do if your clothes catch fire? Or what to do in case of low flying planes? Or the literal form of “surviving the ground,” the official ruling that negated Pittsburgh’s go-ahead touchdown in last week’s game against the Patriots?
Actually, it’s none of those. NBC’s alternate angle shows the missing link to the celebration -- JuJu Smith-Schuster tossing what appears to be pretend snowballs. Really, really hard, apparently.
A snowball fight. Or rather, a snowball massacre. In Texas. Inside. Give Pittsburgh credit for originality, at least.
