The Texans haven’t had too much to cheer about on Christmas, but DeAndre Hopkins ensured his team wasn’t going to get shut out against the Steelers — and he did so with a catch-of-the-year candidate.
DeAndre Hopkins gave us one of the year’s best touchdown catches for Christmas
Tipped, toe-tapping TD torches the Steelers

Hopkins ran a fade to the corner of the end zone, then tipped T.J. Yates’ over-thrown pass up in the air to give himself a shot at the ball. He then used his other hand to corral the ball, tapped both his feet in bounds, and gave Houston its first points of the game in the process.
What this means for DeAndre Hopkins: No one has suffered more from Houston’s rotating door of quarterbacks than Hopkins, the All-Pro wideout who has caught passes from a litany of underwhelming passers throughout his Texans career. He continues to prove he can make the best of a bad situation — he’s got 1,300+ receiving yards and 13 touchdowns this fall.
What this means for the Texans: They’re not getting shut out, which is good. They’re still losing by 21 in the fourth quarter, which is bad.
