Super Bowl 53 is six days away, bringing with it the single biggest event for betting in North America. Plenty of money is coming down on the point spread, but there are a host of other ways to win money on Super Bowl Sunday. Prop bets are always a fun one, but a game growing in popularity is Super Bowl squares.
DraftKings offers their own free version of Super Bowl squares with $53,000 in prize money

It’s a simple game of chance in which a 10-by-10 grid is put together featuring the two teams. People pick random spots on the board and then numbers 0 through 9 are drawn or randomly assigned.
If you get 1 for the Patriots and 8 for the Rams, the score at the end of each quarter and at the end of the game must reflect those numbers for you to win. Using that example, if the Patriots are leading 21-18, trailing 28-21, winning 11-8, or any other such combination, you win prize money.
The squares are becoming more popular, and now DraftKings is getting in the mix. The daily fantasy giant and burgeoning sports betting entity is offering a free Super Bowl squares contest.
You have to create a free account, but then you pick your spot on the board and numbers will be assigned shortly before kickoff. The prize pool is currently $53,000 and DraftKings has said they will add more money for every additional 100,000 entries.
I’ve submitted my entry, and I have to admit, I’m feeling pretty lucky with this position!
