Patrick Mahomes blasted refs to Josh Allen post-game, calls penalty ‘f***ing terrible!’

Pat didn’t hold back.

It goes without saying that Patrick Mahomes was fired up after the game-defining offsides penalty on Kadarius Toney which wiped away the best touchdown of the season, effectively leading to a Bills win.

Mahomes has blasted the referees publicly, as did Andy Reid — but video of Mahomes meeting with Josh Allen post-game shows that the quarterback was venting to his competition as well.

[NSFW audio below]

“Wildest f***ing call I’ve ever seen. Offensive offsides in that moment man. F***ing terrible.”

Allen didn’t really know how to react to Mahomes complaining about the call. We didn’t see the start of this video, so perhaps they exchanged congratulations before it — but the Chiefs’ QB was completely fixated on the call, as he continued to walk around saying it was “f***ing terrible” amid a chorus of boos at Arrowhead Stadium

There’s going to be a lot of discussion on whether the flag should have been thrown or not, but at the end of the day it was a pretty clear penalty. It’s horrific that it happened on the game’s most critical play, but it’s hard to see what the alternative would have been. If the referees didn’t call the penalty on Toney then the discussion today is all about the non-call that led to a Chiefs win.

It sucks, but it is what it is.
