The 49ers are losing weapons on offense and now Deebo Samuel is added to the list in Week 8.

Deebo Samuel Sr. #1 of the San Francisco 49ers warms up prior to the start of the game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Levi’s Stadium on October 20, 2024 in Santa Clara, California.

The San Francisco 49ers are leading the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8, and if they’re going to secure the win, they might have to do it without wide receiver Deebo Samuel. He suffered a a rib injury and has been announced as questionable to return to the game in the fourth quarter.

Samuel left the game with four receptions for 71 yards and 15 rushing yards on four carries. George Kittle has led the 49ers in receiving against the Cowboys, and it’s safe to say we’ll see him getting a lot of looks coming down the stretch. The 49ers lead the Cowboys 27-17 midway through the fourth quarter.

UPDATE: Samuel did not return to the game after getting the questionable designation. He did not go to the locker room as far as anybody saw, and instead got worked on by the training staff.
