It takes a lot of self-sacrifice to be an NFL insider, and Adam Schefter’s dedication to the craft is second to none. On Wednesday the ESPN personality was asked on This is Football about the weirdest place he’s every broken a story and... well... it was sex. He was having sex.

Schefter joined the Denver Post in 1996, and served as the Broncos beat writer until 2004. The NFL announced that Carter (a member of the Broncos at the time) was being suspended on April 25, 2000 — and if Schefter was getting the news first, we can presume that he was called on the evening of April 24.
