The Week 15 NFL slate will feature the battle of Pennsylvania in a high profile matchup of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams are leading their respective division and in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in each conference. The game kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET and the Eagles are a 5.5-point favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook.
Steelers playoff picture
The Steelers are 10-3 and have a two-game lead over the Ravens in the AFC North. The Steelers cannot yet clinch the division, but if they win or tie, they will clinch a playoff berth. Even if they lose, they would clinch a playoff berth with a Dolphins loss or tie against the Texans coupled with a Colts loss or tie against the Broncos.
Pittsburgh beat Baltimore in their first matchup this season and will face off again in Week 16. Whether the Steelers win or lose to the Eagles this weekend, they’ll be in a position to clinch the AFC North next week in that matchup.
Eagles playoff picture
The Eagles are 11-2 and have clinched a playoff berth. They have a three-game lead on the Commanders and can clinch the NFC East title with a win and a Commanders loss or tie. If the Eagles somehow tied the Steelers, the Eagles could clinch the division with a Commanders loss.
Philadelphia is one game back of Detroit for the No. 1 seed in the overall NFC standings. The Lions have a one-game lead in the conference record tiebreaker.
Tiebreaker implications
This game would have a fairly light impact on tiebreakers. The Steelers and Ravens both played the Eagles, so common games would be impacted for Pittsburgh. The Steelers are a common opponent for the Eagles and Commanders, but it is unlikely Washington catches the Eagles.
