Even Malik Nabers hates the Giants ugly throwbacks

No lies detected.

The best thing we can say about the Giants throwback uniforms for their 100th season is that they’re polarizing — but that’s not really true. Everyone with any kind of taste hates them, including the team’s top pick Malik Nabers. The team’s newest weapon was asked about the look, and he didn’t mince his words.

“It’s gonna be hard to swag it out. That’s all I got to say about it.”

All Nabers could offer was an “I don’t know,” when he was asked what it would take to make it look good. We appreciate the honesty. The problem with the Giants’ throwbacks is that they didn’t stick to just one era. By taking multiple different elements from team history and mashing them together it created a uniform that looked like a toddler dressed themselves. Nothing flows, there’s no cohesiveness — and the past was best left in the past.

People are going to be clowning on these uniforms all season long.
