Final cut down day is brutal. On Tuesday teams needed to make their toughest decisions to reach their final 53 before the start of the regular season, and it’s the cruelest day in football. For the vast majority of guys it represents where their NFL dreams end, with only a fraction of players either being lucky enough to make the roster, or land on a practice squad.

While most of the focus on cut day is on the names released, the Tennessee Titans released a behind the scenes video of fringe players being told they made the roster, and the result is five minutes of pure joy.
The video follows four players, all of whom were in the air entering cut day. Most of the time being called into the GM’s office on the day is bad news, but for these guys it was a chance for Ran Carthon to congratulate them on doing enough to get a life-changing opportunity.
