The 2025 NFC Championship Game is set. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Washington Commanders on Sunday, January 26 with kickoff set for 3 p.m. ET. The Eagles opened as a 5.5-point favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook in hypothetical lines ahead of the Eagles Divisional Round win over the Rams. The total opened at 48.5.

We’ve got an early look at the opening betting lines for the Eagles and Commanders in the NFC Championship Game of the 2023 NFL playoffs.

UPDATE: Shortly after the game ended, the line re-opened with the Eagles as a 4.5-point favorite. The point total re-opened at 47.5. The Eagles are a -245 favorite and the Commanders are a +200 underdog.
The Eagles have reached the NFC Championship for the second time in three seasons. They beat the seventh-seeded Packers 22-10 in the Wild Card Round after picking off Jordan Love three times. They followed that up with a 28-22 win over the Rams in the Divisional Round. They forced two fourth quarter fumbles and Saquon Barkley ran in a 78-yard touchdown to provide necessary insurance to secure the win.
This marks Washington’s first trip to the NFC Championship since 1992. That year, they beat the Lions in the title game before beating the Bills in the Super Bowl. They will look to complete their third straight upset and advance to Super Bowl LIX. They beat the third-seeded Buccaneers 23-20 in the Wild Card Round and then knocked off the top-seeded Lions 45-31 in the Divisional Round. Jayden Daniels has been the key to Washington’s run. He became the first player since the merger to throw for 250+ passing yards and 2+ passing touchdowns with zero interceptions in each of his first two playoff games.
This will be only the second time these division rivals have faced off in the playoffs. In 1991, Washington traveled to Philadelphia in the Wild Card Round and won 20-6. They also lead the all-time series 90-86-6 and the two teams split their 2024 regular season matchups.
