There’s a fine line between coincidence and conspiracy theory, and when it comes to the Super Bowl logo the NFL crossed it once more. With the game now set to be a rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs it was an occasion to play America’s favorite game show: The NFL is scripted.
The Super Bowl logo conspiracy theory is back
It’s baaaack.

Unveiled in 2024, the Super Bowl LIX logo for New Orleans is a mixture of purple, orange, red, and green — with red and green being the operative part of the conspiracy theory this year.

The red for the Chiefs, the green for the Eagles — it writes itself. Naturally there’s already talk that this is the matchup the NFL wanted all along, and this logo is proof that it was planned.
Forget the fact that the green in the logo is nothing like Eagles’ green, and much more closely resembles the Seahawks. Also ignore that the red could have equally represented the Bills, or that the maroon in the logo could have been the Commanders. Please don’t not that the predominant background color is purple, and the Ravens were eliminated in the Divisional Playoffs.

As we all know, when you’re trying to executive a massive conspiracy that threatens the entire future of your multi-billion-dollar organization it’s important to leave obvious hints for people to discover so they can easily unravel your fiendish plot. It’s definitely not something you want to bury and only have a tiny number of people knowing, you want everyone to have a hand in it — then just hope nobody spills anything.
Anyway, congrats to the Lions for making it to the Super Bowl next year.
