Where will the 41-year-old play next?

The Aaron Rodgers era with the Jets is unceremoniously over.

After months of hype and excitement surrounding the future Hall-of-Famer’s landing in New York, the Jets were left with more controversies than wins, relegated again to being the butt of every joke. With a new head coach and GM in tow, New York is ushering in a new era--without Rodgers.

Where could Rodgers go after he’s cut by the Jets? Here are some destinations that make sense.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers

It’s no secret how much Rodgers and Steelers’ head coach Mike Tomlin respect each other, that’s for sure.

The Steelers currently don’t have a QB under contract for the 2025 season, and with both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields not being good enough to get the Steelers over the Wild Card hump they’ve been stuck at, a vet like Rodgers makes a lot of sense for Pittsburgh.

3. Tennessee Titans

Titans’ head coach Brian Callahan has openly been advocating for guys who can operate the pocket and work pre and post snap like he had in Cincy’s Joe Burrow. Of all the free agent QBs available, why not take your swing on one of the most supercomputer QBs of all time? The Titans spent a lot of money on veteran free agents, and if they truly do want to go best player available in the draft with the first overall pick, having a QB like Rodgers wouldn’t be a bad plan.

2. Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders might already be linked to another aging vet QB (Russ-Pete reunion when?), but Rodgers would also make sense here. In a division with QBs Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert, plus the coaching of Sean Payton, Andy Reid and Jim Harbaugh, the Raiders having some experience to battle those guys might be important. In addition, they find themselves on the outside looking in when it comes to drafting a QB, so if they can’t get a rookie QB early the Rodgers route is available.

1. Minnesota Vikings

You know you want you, Rodgers. Finish the Brett Favre career arc. It’s right there in front of you.
