Super Bowl LIX Opening Night

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! The NFL wraps up the 2024-25 season tonight when the Philadelphia Eagles face off against the Kansas City Chiefs at the Superdome in New Orleans. Super Bowl 59 features a rematch of Super Bowl 57 when the Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 after Harrison Butker kicked a game-winning field goal with eight seconds left.

Fox broadcast that game and will be broadcasting this year’s rematch. That means we’ll get the in-booth announcer duo of Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady. It will be the most viewed broadcast of the year, and there’s a good chance Fox and the NFL will end up announcing this game as the most viewed broadcast of all time.

And yet, we all know how people feel about Tom Brady as an announcer. He’s not awful, but he’s not particularly good. At times he shows improvement, but other times it feels like he regresses as an announcer. And so, we have to consider other options; namely, radio.

The Super Bowl will air on Westwood One for English-language listeners and Entravision for Spanish-language listeners. SiriusXM will offer a host of options and Armed Forces Radio will have a broadcast for military personnel and their families stationed overseasons.

A lot of people enjoy listening to sports on the radio, and there will be plenty of people who listen to the Super Bowl on the radio this year for a variety of reasons that have nothing to do with Tom Brady. Maybe you’re at work and don’t have access to a TV. Maybe you’ll be in your car during some or all of the game. Whatever the reason, it is necessary to know how to watch the biggest NFL game of the year on the radio.
