Update: Lamar Jackson has now been ruled out.

Previously: The Baltimore Ravens need to win their final three games to clinch a playoff spot, starting tonight against the New England Patriots.

But they might have to finish the job against Drake Maye and company with Lamar Jackson watching from the sidelines.

Jackson left the game late in the first half after getting up slowly following a scramble. Tyler Huntley came into the game, and reports from the Baltimore sideline indicated that he was dealing with a back injury.

You can see the play in question here:

Jackson appeared to take a knee to the lower back on the play. He spent some time with medical staff on the sideline before heading to the locker room before the first half ended.

Cameras spotted Jackson making the walk to the locker room, visibly frustrated:

Baltimore listed Jackson as questionable to return with a back injury:

When the second half began, Huntley was still in the game. In a sideline interview with Melissa Stark, John Harbaugh noted that Jackson was trying to stretch out his back in the locker room.

Jackson has been battling injuries all season, and missed three games with a hamstring issue earlier in the year.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers winning to improve to 9-6 on the season, Baltimore needs a win tonight to move to 8-7, and stay within striking distance of the Steelers. A loss would drop the Ravens to 7-8, two games behind Pittsburgh with two games remaining.
