VIDEO: Jordan Eberle Begins NHL Career, Oilers Season In Style

After falling to rock bottom a season ago, the Edmonton Oilers can go nowhere but up. With help from a trio of promising youngsters -- Magnus Paajarvi, Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle -- the Oil hope their northward ascent in the standings begins sooner rather than later.

The three each made their NHL debuts on Thursday night against the Calgary Flames, and Eberle was the first to shine, scoring a goal and an assist.

↵That first NHL goal might be the prettiest he’ll ever score in the league.
