Coyotes Goaltender Jason LaBarbera Honors Pat Tillman With New Mask

Coyotes goaltender Jason LaBarbera is known for wearing masks featuring pro wrestling heroes such as Shawn Michaels or The Undertaker.

His newest mask, courtesy of designer David Arrigo, will pay homage to a real-life hero...Pat Tillman.

I wanted to make sure that all troops knew how much we respect and appreciate their sacrifices to protect our way of life,” LaBarbera said. “Pat’s story is well-known around the country and the world, but it’s so important here in Arizona were the people see him as their own. He is a part of Arizona sports history and our nation’s history and I wanted to show that.

LaBarbera will donate $420 for every win he records to The Pat Tillman Foundation. The $420 represents No. 42, Tillman's NFL jersey number when he played for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
